DECLARATIVE SENTENCE: expresses a statement; ends with a period.
Example: Josh has brown eyes and brown hair.
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE: asks a question; ends with question mark. Remember to interrogate
someone is to ask them questions.
Example: Is there homework tonight?
IMPERATIVE SENTENCE: a command, telling someone to do something; usually ends with a period
but may end with an exclamation point.
Example: Please walk in the hall.
EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE: shows strong feeling; it always ends with an exclamation point.
Example: You are driving me crazy!
